1. Introduction

Welcome to Quizvee ("Quizvee," "we," "us," or "our"), an online and mobile quiz application operated by QUIZVEE ONLINE EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANCY SERVICES, designed to help individuals — particularly those preparing for the Philippine Civil Service Examination — improve their knowledge and confidence. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Quizvee's website, web application, and mobile applications (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. User Registration

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. During registration (including via Google Sign-In), we collect:

  • Your email address
  • Your first and last name
  • Your profile photo (optional)

You agree that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and kept up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@quizvee.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Services Provided

Quizvee offers, among other things:

  • Quiz Generation — practice quizzes across Numerical, Verbal, Analytical, and General Information categories, with configurable length and time limits.
  • Full Mock Exams — a fixed-structure practice exam mirroring the format of the actual Civil Service Examination.
  • Score Analytics — quiz results and progress tracking.
  • Quiz History — the ability to revisit and review previously taken quizzes.
  • Mistake Review — a spaced-review system that resurfaces questions you've previously answered incorrectly until you demonstrate mastery.
  • Topic Articles and Reference Videos — supplementary study content linked to specific exam topics.
  • Offline Practice Packs (mobile only) — a limited set of questions downloadable for practice without an internet connection.
  • Subscription Plans — a free trial period followed by paid access tiers unlocking the full question bank. Current pricing, trial length, and access duration for each plan are displayed in the app or on quizvee.com at the time of purchase and are not fixed by these Terms, since they may change from time to time.

4. User Responsibilities

When using Quizvee, you agree that you will not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems, including by hacking, scraping, or reverse-engineering.
  • Use automated means (bots, scripts) to access the Service in a way that sends more request messages to our servers than a human could reasonably produce in the same period.
  • Copy, redistribute, or resell the question bank, reviewers, or any other Quizvee content without our prior written consent.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

5. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds

5.1 Web Purchases

Subscriptions purchased through quizvee.com are processed via our third-party payment processor (PayMongo). Payments are non-refundable — once access to premium content has been granted, no refund will be issued for any unused portion of a subscription, except where required by applicable law.

5.2 Mobile App Store / Google Play Subscriptions

Subscriptions purchased through the Quizvee mobile app are processed as auto-renewable in-app purchases via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and managed on our end through RevenueCat. By subscribing through the mobile app, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription automatically renews for the same duration and at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions) or your Google Play account settings (Play Store > Payments & subscriptions).
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
  • Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are handled directly by Apple or Google in accordance with their own refund policies — Quizvee cannot issue refunds for these purchases directly and does not have the ability to process them on Apple's or Google's behalf.

6. Data and Privacy

Quizvee is committed to protecting user data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines. We only collect the information necessary to provide the Service and implement reasonable security measures to safeguard it. 7. Account Deletion

You may delete your Quizvee account and associated data at any time from within the mobile app (Settings > Delete My Account). Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, quiz history, saved progress, and subscription records from our systems and cannot be undone. Web users may request account deletion by emailing support@quizvee.com. See our Privacy Policy for further detail on what deletion actually removes.

8. Third-Party Services

Quizvee relies on the following third-party services to operate:

  • Google OAuth — for account authentication.
  • Supabase — for database hosting and storage.
  • Vercel — for web application hosting.
  • Groq and OpenAI — to generate AI-assisted answer explanations.
  • Upstash Redis — for caching and performance.
  • PayMongo — for processing web subscription payments.
  • RevenueCat — for managing mobile in-app purchases and subscriptions across the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Resend — for transactional email delivery.
  • Google Analytics — for aggregate usage analytics.

By using Quizvee, you agree to abide by the respective terms of service of these providers where your use of Quizvee involves their services. Quizvee is not responsible for outages, errors, or issues arising from these third-party services that are outside of our reasonable control.

9. Intellectual Property

All content provided through the Service — including but not limited to the question bank, explanations, hints, reviewers, topic articles, graphics, and the Quizvee name and logo — is owned by QUIZVEE ONLINE EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANCY SERVICES or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use this content for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation only.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer. Quizvee strives to provide accurate and up-to-date content, but we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any question, answer, explanation, or reviewer material provided through the Service, nor do we guarantee any particular examination outcome. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quizvee, QUIZVEE ONLINE EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANCY SERVICES, and their officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the subscription giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable Philippine law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service, or delete your account, at any time as described in Section 7.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Philippines.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through an in-app notice at least 7 days before the new Terms take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that point constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
